Vouvray is the most important individual white wine appellation in the Touraine district of the Loire. Because Chenin Blanc ripens so late, production can be a hazardous business. This lovely white from an excellent family domaine we recently discovered is rich and full flavoured, with a relatively high acidity. The wines are aged in stunning underground chalk cellars after bottling, where constant temperature and humidity ensure perfect conditions for ageing.

La bouche de ce Vouvray surprend par son ampleur et par ses arômes de pomme et de pruneau. Elle présente une petite note vive interéssante, mais c’est l’impression de rondeur qui domine.
