Despite the fact that we are always being sent Muscadet samples, nothing has yet beaten Bernard Gratas’ lovely example. Every single bunch of grapes on this estate is harvested by hand rather than by machine, which guarantees that they arrive in the best possible condition. This lovely white is dry and fruity with delicate hints of apples; I suggest that those of you who have never tried decent Muscadet will be very pleasantly surprised.
