Fitou is the oldest Appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon in the south of France, and some would say the classiest. Made primarily with the Carignan grape, this a big, strapping plum-flavoured red with plenty of spice and body. One of the few remaining estates making Fitou, this is superbly made, and great value.

.Au coeur du village de Tuchan, la cave des Colomer est à visiter. Ce vin se pare en rubis et fleure l’épice et le fruit confit. Déja souple il cache dans ses accents de jeunesse la belle constitution d’un Fitou d’origine. Riche et ample, il est bon et prêt à résister au temps.
