Ferries from the south of England,
or Ireland, provide good
connections to Cherbourg
and Ouistreham. Booking directly with the ferry companies (Brittany
Ferries, or Irish
Ferries) can be done on-line, and there are many choices of
facilities and accommodation on board to make your journey comfortable and
enjoyable. During a large part of the year, particularly in the summer
months, there are fast services on several routes, making a day trip from the
south of England
a realistic option. There are often special
offers from the UK, from as little as £45 off season or from Ireland,
which can be lower than those in the brochure or on-line. Ring the booking
office and enquire for the lowest rates.

Ferries operate from Portsmouth or
Poole to Cherbourg
or Ouistreham:
services from Rosslare to Cherbourg
are operated by Irish Ferries.
Our shops in both Cherbourg and Ouistreham have car parks and
are conveniently close to the ferry terminals, allowing easy access for foot
passengers: we are happy to provide delivery of purchases to the ferry
terminals.
